I was glad to be a part of the the Urban Climates: Power, Development, and Environment workshop held at the University of Cambridge on 7-8 June 2019. The workshop was organized by Nida Rehman (University of Cambridge) and Aparna Parikh (Dartmouth College) and was funded by the Urban Studies Foundation. It brought together an excellent cohort of scholars working on environmental issues (broadly construed) in growing South Asia cities and socio-political, cultural, and ecological dimensions of the same.
